Shadi has helped me regain the strength and confidence I used to have before mom life. I spent the majority of my life being very active—riding bikes around town & working on sailboats. After having my son & changing careers, I lost a lot of myself and was really struggling to find a way to regain that sense of self. We started with light weights and gentle exercises that werent harmful to the aches and pains I have from being more sedentary. 1 year later & I am lifting more than I thought I would be able to and still able to carry my son up and down the stairs (50lbs!).
She also gently corrected my self-deprecating language into a healthy acknowledgement of where i am that day. Ex: “im such a pos today” to “My energy is lower than usual so maybe I should take it easy on myself.” Yes, it was that drastic lol

Shadi is awesome! She became my personal trainer last year and I feel like my whole life has changed for the better. She designed all of my workouts to exactly what works best for me and my body. I have some knee and back problems and she helped me strengthen the muscles in those problem areas to help lessen the pain. She does weekly check-ins to make sure you are on track and to hype you up without making you feel guilty if you miss one occasionally. She also helps with your mindset around food and helping break bad habits. It is also 100% worth mentioning she is professional, so patient and kind and has become a friend over the last year. I couldn't have asked for a better trainer! I HIGHLY recommend Shadi!
